Art Direction Hauser & Wirth
The swiss art gallery Hauser & Wirth, specialising in contemporary and modern art, was founded by Manuela and Iwan Wirth and Ursula Hauser in 1992. Over the years the gallery has grown steadily with gallery spaces in London, Somerset, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and St. Moritz. With the galleries growth to a global enterprise its visual identity had grown organically.
However to lack of design strategy and guidelines the visual identity was increasingly lacking consistency. The task was to align and improve the core visual elements, allowing the identity to become a global brand working throughout all print and digital media, across multiple languages and cultural conventions.
